Juggalo drops crazy lifestyle and faces reliality

Extra security was called to a Pima County courtroom Friday for the sentencing of a Tucson man for shooting a 24-year-old man to death and injuring another in March 2011.

Friends and family members of murder victim Flint Smith made their displeasure with Terry Dixon’s plea agreement and sentence known – frequently with loud expletives – before Superior Court Judge Howard Fell sentenced Dixon to 8 1/2 years in prison.

On March 24, 2011, a 20-year-old man called 911 from a home near West Prince and North Flowing Wells roads and said he’d been shot.

When officers arrived, the man told police to go to a nearby home in the 3700 block of North Turtle Avenue. That’s where police found Smith and a 17-year-old boy with gunshot wounds. All three were taken to a hospital, and Smith died.

Dixon, 19, was charged with first-degree murder, but pleaded guilty last month to manslaughter and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

He was facing between three and 21 1/4 years in prison under the terms of the plea agreement.

Smith’s stepfather, Terrance Haider, expressed outrage that Dixon was offered a plea to a less-serious charge and that one of the other victim’s gunshot wound was described as non-life-threatening. Haider called the plea agreement “disrespectful,” noting that his son was killed and his nephew almost died.

Haider also strenuously objected to defense attorney Vincent Frey’s claims that Dixon shot Smith in self-defense.

In an interview after the hearing, Haider said his son, his nephew and Dixon were all in a hip-hop music group. They were also fans of the hip-hop group Insane Clown Posse, which has fans known as “juggalos.”

On the day of the slaying, Haider said, the members of the hip-hop group began arguing with Dixon because he’d been banned from a club where they were supposed to be playing that weekend. The fight turned physical and Dixon pulled a gun and shot the other young men, Haider said.

Smith was shot several times in the torso, Haider’s nephew was shot in the chest and the 17-year-old was shot in the foot, court documents state.

Dixon turned himself in to Los Angeles police about six weeks later.

On Friday, Frey said everyone involved lived the “juggalos type of life” and believed Dixon should have just submitted to the beating. It was only after Dixon was trapped against a wall and was repeatedly punched that he pulled the gun, Frey said.

Dixon made a “desperate decision” while intoxicated; he never intended for his friend to get shot and killed, Frey said.

Since his arrest, Dixon has had his juggalos tattoo covered up and he’s renounced the “crazy philosophies” of the juggalos, Frey said.

Fell sentenced Dixon to five years for the manslaughter and 3 1/2 years for the assault and ordered them to be served consecutively. He also ordered Dixon to pay $2,040 in restitution.

People on both sides of the case were separately escorted from the courthouse by Pima County deputies and corrections officers.

Crazy Juggalo Cult Comment

WOW 9th jokers card album has more meaning to some people then others……

Welcome to the begining of the end. The coming of the Nine will mark the end. Lo and behold, none of this matters. So good luck and god speed, I’m waiting for the wagons to come and take me to Shangri-La. Whether or not anyone really believes it, is trivial. I believe. So while ya’ll are still bitching about the stupid shit, I will be ready. For my death and the death of all. I feel the light upon me, I can only hope that others see the light and accept it to fill them with warmth to take them from the cold embrace of nothingness. Look upon me for I have no doubt in my heart, your hate cannot touch me, your pain saddens me, your sadness I can feel, your heart I wish to hold to warm with my love I have for all and you still hate me. I may be a juggalo, I may want the world to burn, but I love all people. There is just alot that people do that disapoint me, my heart aches with the knowledge that they know no better, but ignorance will only go so far. When you look the end in the eye you must ask yourself one of two things; What is waiting for me? or Is this it? Mine will always be the latter, I have no fear. Can anyone else say the same? I doubt it. I stand for I fall for nothing, I am light, fear for me is nothing more than my heart fluttering. If the world lasts another 10,000 years after this, I will be forever grateful. Thank you all and may light shine on your soul to take away the darkness. MCL.

Juggalo on trial for murder – member of Insane Clown Posse gang

Insane Clown Posse gang members live on the edge of society and adhere to an ‘almost cult-like religion’
By Bob Fowler
News Sentinel

CLINTON, Tenn. — A man accused of chopping his mother-inlaw to death with a hatchet is a member of the Insane Clown Posse gang, an expert testified Monday.

As Robert Edward Fritts’ murder trial entered its second week, prosecutors introduced evidence linking him to ardent followers of the horror-themed, ultra-violent hip-hop band who have embarked on crime sprees.

Insane Clown Posse gang members live on the edge of society and adhere to an “almost cult-like religion,” said Detective Sgt. Tom Walker, supervisor of the Knox County Sheriff’s Office’s gang investigation unit.

I believe he (Fritts) is a member of the (Insane Clown Posse) gang,” Walker told the nine-woman, threeman Anderson County jury. Evidence introduced Monday revealed Fritts’ fascination with both the band and hatchets.

Fritts showed jurors his Insane Clown Posse tattoos, including his right forearm, where the band’s logo — the Running Hatchet Man — is imprinted.

Fritts also kept his musings and lyrics akin to those of the band in a notebook at victim Teresa Anne Busler’s home.

“Murder, bloody murder, baby,” Fritts wrote in the notebook. “My ax is not like the rest.”

Fritts, 27, is accused of bludgeoning and chopping the back of 45- year-old Busler’s head at least 11 times in the bedroom of her Andersonville area residence in March 2007.

Prosecutor Sandra Donaghy said in opening statements there was a “white substance” on Busler’s face and one arm when her body was discovered.
Walker on Monday testified that Insane Clown Posse acolytes frequently paint their faces white to resemble clowns.

After he was charged with first-degree murder two months following the horrifi c slaying and jailed, Fritts talked with other inmates about the crime, according to testimony Monday.

Dustin Dalton, who shared a cell with Fritts in 2009, testifi ed he kept badgering Fritts about the charges against him.

“(Fritts) finally said, ‘Eventually I just snapped, and when I came to, she was dead,’ ” Dalton testified.

Donaghy has said the state’s theory is that Fritts killed Busler with a hatchet that Busler’s husband kept between their bedsprings and mattress as security.

That hatchet was found a week later in a crawlspace over the Buslers’ garage.

Testimony is expected to continue most of the week.

So this juggalo paints up , listens to icps lyrics then blacks out and commits a murder – please dont come here saying he was not a juggalo when the evidence is there in black and white.
Ban the juggalo gang.

Threat of MS-13 Gang in Franconia Area, Police Say

Fairfax County Police Department Gang Unit detectives speaking to Franconia’s Citizen Advisory Committee meeting last week brought bad news and good news. The bad: The Franconia area is threatened by Salvadoran gang MS-13, a group so notorious one detective called it a terrorist threat. The good: Gang activity in area high schools is at a new low.

The two detectives who spoke at the CAC meeting at the Franconia Government Center asked not to be photographed or named in this story for their own safety.

The detectives estimated there are more than 100 gangs in Fairfax County, and between 2,000 and 3,000 gang members. The Franconia District, which includes Kingstowne, Rose Hill and parts of Annandale and Lorton, has 13 gangs, according to a list the detectives showed.

While gang members in the area are rarely obvious, they can be spotted by a keen observer, one detective said.

“You will see them flagging out there,” the detective said, referring to gang members flashing handsigns or wearing gang colors.

Gang activity in local high schools is lower than it was a few years ago, according to one detective, although the gang list did include a group specific to Hayfield High School—the Latin Homies. One detective talked about the investigation of the Tiny Rascal Gang at Edison High School in 2010.

“We took care of those kids real quick,” he said.

Even Lee High School, which experienced a spate of gang graffiti after a 2007 murder at Springfield Mall tied to MS-13, has quieted down, detectives said.

Still, the detectives said the Franconia Police District continues to be threatened by gangs. MS-13 is the ”biggest threat right now” in the area, according to one detective. The gang is also active in the McLan and Mason districts.

Juggalos

Another detective said some crime in Franconia may be perpetrated by another, less traditional gang: people who listen to the rap group Insane Clown Posse.

Fans of the group, who call themselves “juggalos” or, for female fans, “juggalettes,” listen to “horrorcore” music, a subgenre of rap that focuses on gruesome topics like murder and rape, a detective said. He said juggalos have been responsible for assaults, robberies, child pornography, and even a murder in Fairfax County. He declined to name the murder case.

The detective cautioned that listening to the Insane Clown Posse, or even being a juggalo, does not mean a person is a criminal.

“Don’t freak out,” he advised people who might know a juggalo, saying listening to the music does not make a person a criminal. The detective described attending an ICP concert in Norfolk, Va., and being treated well by a juggalo who thought he was a fan.

“A lot of people consider them a cult,” he said. According to the detective, Rose Hill’s Gangster Disciples consider themselves juggalos.

The detectives said anyone who sees the “Hatchet Man,” an ICP symbol, should report it to Fairfax County police. The image, the silhouette of a running man carrying a hatchet or cleaver, can sometimes be seen on cars, according to the detective. He asked that people send them the license plate numbers of cars with the Hatchet Man logo.

“I’d just like to talk to [reported juggalos],” the detective said.

The detectives urged anyone with gang-related information to contact the unit at 703-246-2511.
