LOL ICP forgot to book concert , Blames “cops” – washington gang march concert cancelled

The free concert scheduled to follow the Juggalo March in Washington, D.C. on Saturday, September 16, 2017 will not happen due to the Prince William County Sheriff’s Department expressing “concerns” about Juggalos coming to the area where the event was originally to be held.

Psychopathic Records is currently examining its options and has contacted the American Civil Liberties Union of Virginia requesting their assistance in this matter. It is Psychopathic Records’ full intent that a free concert will still take place following the Juggalo March, which is scheduled for noon in the National Mall.

Today, Psychopathic Records released this statement concerning the unwarranted cancellation of the concert:

“Here’s the simple fact: A law enforcement agency has told thousands and thousands of people that they are not welcome in their community simply because they identify as Juggalos, which is a music-based subculture and nothing more. And this PRECISELY reflects the purpose of the Juggalo March – to call attention to the kind of casual discrimination, profiling, and bigotry that Juggalos face every day throughout these United States. This is why we are marching and also why we are calling upon fellow music artists, social activists, and public servants to join us at the March – because the basic civil liberties of thousands of taxpaying American citizens are being abused…simply because they listen to a certain type of music. To our Juggalo brothers and sisters, rest assured we are looking into all options to ensure a free concert following the Juggalo March on September 16 goes on as planned. Stay strong and remember…we are family, NOT a gang or public menace and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise!”

  1. Considering I grew up with these guys and we went to school and mixed together and lots of other occurrences being in the horror-core / hardcore rap music realm of Detroit it is safe to say that yes ICP is somewhat of a menace to the public. It looks and sounds like a Trans Gender carnival of freaks and misfits when a concert is going on where ever they are collected in groups and and fans. That’s the truth. If you don’t see that you are blind. The language, the style and the sound. It is menacing. Blood and guts on the ceiling is a horror show. Horror is to scare and thrill. Somewhat menacing right? I do feel the discrimination they feel and talk about. But you know that is expected. If you are a dark carnival, your motto and trademark moves are tossing faygo and making a mess trashing places with sugar and syrup. That is being a misfit and acting trashy. Like a rock star fucking up a hotel room. That is being a menace. lol. Dressing like an evil clown or any clown… majority of the public we all know are scared of clowns or hate clowns… yet again menacing. They can fight this all they want. It’s common sense. You play the hard guy / group you deal with the hard route in getting out there. I mean they should be thankful they have made it this long. I haven’t gotten anywhere close to where they have in success with the same kind of music. Now if they helped a local Detroit-er and old school 90’s friend in the biz like myself perhaps they would have more support by people who really can help. But since us other dogs are left in the dirt with no openers / no bookings / no support or offers of support by the dark carnival other acts like myself do not give a damn what happens to them and prays for their downfall. Simple as that. You have and you don’t pay it forward.. you fail and everyone is in hopes you fail. You have and you do pay it forward.. then we are all in support. But it never went that way… so hate will be grown on them more and more.
